I was going to slap a new version number on this website, but to hell with it. I think this is version 4.0 for those of you that are keeping track. But for me, it’s a fresh start.

My new website vision is “Back to Basics.” As you can see, this new theme fits that motto quite well. Not a lot of graphics and no flashy polishing. I’m taking myself back to the essence of blogging. I’m talking about the time from several years ago, before I was doing huge graphical montages, complex audio podcasts, videos, thumbnail images, and all that jazz. I’m no longer putting pressure on myself to write entries of any significant length either. If I feel like it, fine, but you will find that many of my posts will be quick one or two paragraph blurbs about a minor topic. These topics will include opinions, experiences, thoughts, observations, and things I’ve done. I’ve also decided to give things more of a “writing” feel. After all, that was the original intention of this website, right? I’m a writer. My blog is an outlet for my writing. Thus, I feel as though it should look the part.

So, there you have it. The new FlynnTaggart.com for your future enjoyment. Granted, there’s not a whole lot here at the moment, but hang in there.
