About

Flynn Taggart is a pseudonym for a guy named Sean.

That would be me.

I am a fiction writer who is yet to be published. This is primarily the case because I haven’t yet finished a novel that I’m happy with. Thus far, I have one novella, one novel, and two half-completed novels under my belt. Most of my best writing is contained within those two half-novels. Figures.

When I’m not writing, I can be found futzing with computers, running an online retail business, and working at a local accounting firm. I have about a few dozen other skills that could probably be used for financial gain, but I find that four different jobs is plenty for me.

I like to dabble in a little bit of everything. I am an autodidact, but more specifically a “Jack of All Trades,” yet a master of none. Well, maybe one. I guess if I had to label my one true mastercraft, it would be computers. I have a wide range of skills in this area, largely centered around hardware and network implementation. I build/maintain my own computers and enjoy tinkering with my home network. Despite my substantial experience in Windows PC applications, I am also an Apple fan and own a couple Mac computers. I try to keep my feet in both worlds for maximum flexibility.

I’m also an avid video gamer. I am admittedly a PlayStation 3 fanboy, but my Xbox 360 sees the most action because that’s what a majority of my friends use. I don’t own a Nintendo Wii. You’ll usually find me playing Japanese RPG’s or the latest first-person shooter. I’m also a big fan of real-time strategy games, but only on the PC platform.

For those of you that are fans of the Meyers-Briggs personality profiles, I’m an INFJ. For those of you that have no idea what that means, I’m an introvert. I spend most of my time with my mouth closed and mind open. My brain is constantly working, analyzing, and creating. I think deeply. I don’t like hypocrisy, so I thoroughly ponder my position before I open my mouth. If I’m wrong, I admit it and reform my views. I like to think that I’m well-centered and, above all else, fair.

I also wear clothes 24 hours a day, have a bizarre weakness for peanut butter, and love rainy days.
